Fundraising
A company’s choice of funding will depend
on a number of factors, including predictability of future cashflow,
the desire to maintain ownership of equity and its growth requirements.
Bank borrowing is ideal for businesses where future earnings can
be forecast with some certainty. Higher risk situations are more
suited to business angel funding, but this will dilute equity
and carry an expectation from investors of higher returns.
Alternatively, one of your objectives may be to avoid equity dilution,
and this will require cashflow from revenues to be reinvested.
Whilst maintaining control of the company, it could result in
a constraint of your growth potential.
Psi-ense will assist you to determine the best
funding option for your business and will work with you to raise
the required capital. This applies both to new businesses looking
for seed capital, through to established companies with expansion
plans.
We have built up a network of contacts covering venture capitalists,
business angels and government sources of funding. Our involvement
can include identification of potential investors, presentations
and contract negotiation and in most cases, will be on a no-win,
no fee basis
The raising of funds will always require a high
quality business plan. Most companies will have put a plan together
at the start of the business but this may need to be refined to
meet investors’ expectations, particularly in the rigour
of the financial models used. Psi-ense will pleased to either
put together or refine business plans as required.
